Name: Annette Estelle Fortier

Born: May 17th, 1993


Bio: Annette was born the daughter of factory workers in Toronto, she and her twin sister were both raised around machinery. Growing up, the family was blue collar at best, and she lost her father to a work accident when she was 12. Raised from then on by her mother, both she and her sister showed the family aptitude for the mechanical. The two of them both gained entrance to University of British Columbia, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. It was there the sisters witnessed the horror of the kaiju Karloff attacking Vancouver, and the first successful jaeger defending it. Upon hearing about the Jaeger Academy, she convinced her sister to join her there, and despite the two having only a rudimentary knowledge of combat, got accepted on the idea that siblings had a higher drift success rate.
